MENUS IN ICONS. In SignWriter 5.0, there are several ways teachers can setup the Menus. One choice is to use Menus in Icons. There are no words on the screen, only pictures to help the child navigate. This is useful for children who do not have good language skills, or for internationl work. The icons are still under development...this was the design back in June, 1999:
